Daniel Fast Feast

Sunday, January 4, 2009 is the big day! We'll kick off the fast with prayer and a fasting feast at Karyn's house on Sunday after church - 1pm-ish. Bring your favorite Daniel Fast meal and share it with the rest of us. Enjoy such delicacies like Pumpkin and Black Bean soup, Mushroom-Barley-simmered-together-in-a-big-glob-of-goodness, homemade hummus, some kind of black bean dish, and enough tap water to make you swim home!

More importantly, we'll be praying for the Lord's guidance and blessing as we begin this journey to get to know God on a deeper, more intimate level. This Fast is not about the food, but the pursuit to know God like the breath we breathe and the heart that beats in our chest!
